Abde Ezzalzouli netted for Real Betis as they came from behind to secure a 2–1 win at Espanyol on Sunday, marking their third consecutive victory in La Liga.
Espanyol opened the scoring through Pol Lozano in the 15th minute, but Betis turned the game around in the second half. Juan Hernández equalised in the 55th minute before Ezzalzouli struck in the 63rd to give the visitors the lead.
Espanyol had a late chance to level but Javier Pardo missed a penalty in stoppage time.
Ezzalzouli’s goal was his third of the La Liga season. The win lifts Betis to 15 points, moving them up to fourth with four wins, three draws, and one defeat. Espanyol remain ninth with 12 points after their second loss of the season and their fourth game in a row without a win
